Authenticity & Provenance

Every limited-edition artwork from Greg Westbrook Fine Art is accompanied by a serialized Certificate of Authenticity and recorded in the Greg Westbrook Fine Art Archive. Collectors receive a permanent provenance record with each acquisition — documenting authorship, edition integrity, materials, and registry status.

Certificate of Authenticity

Each limited-edition print ships with a physical Certificate of Authenticity bearing an embossed seal. The certificate documents the artwork title, collection, scale, material and presentation, edition information, artist signature method, certificate ID, hologram serial, and date of issue. Retain this document with your records — it is the provenance record for your piece.

Online Verification

Collectors can verify authenticity online at any time using the certificate ID and hologram serial printed on the Certificate of Authenticity. The same serial appears on the matching hologram sticker applied to the back of the artwork. Visit the certificate verification page, enter both values, and confirm the registry status of your work. The verification system connects each certificate to the Greg Westbrook Fine Art Archive.

Serialized Holograms

Each issued work receives two matching serialized hologram stickers bearing the same hologram serial — one placed on the Certificate of Authenticity and one on the back of the artwork. The serial is unique to each issued certificate, recorded in the archive, and required for online verification together with the certificate ID.

Limited Edition Archive

Every limited-edition work is registered in the Greg Westbrook Fine Art Archive (gwfine.art). The archive maintains a permanent record of each issued certificate, linking artwork details, edition information, and verification status. This registry supports long-term provenance for collectors and documents the finite nature of each edition.

Edition Closure

Each image is released in a fixed, small edition across metal and acrylic presentations and all sizes combined. When the last print in an edition is issued, the image is retired from the archive and will not be reissued in these media. Edition size is listed on the product page and on the certificate of authenticity. For the full edition philosophy, see Limited Editions.

Registry & Ownership

The Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the work as a permanent provenance record. Ownership changes should be documented to maintain a clear chain of custody. Scan the verification QR code on the certificate or visit the verification page to confirm current registry status using your certificate ID and hologram serial.

Archival Materials

Limited-edition photographs are produced with archival intent on materials built for permanence — ChromaLuxe aluminum and LumaChrome face-mounted acrylic. Processes and finishing are selected for long-term indoor display and visual stability. For full material specifications, see About the Prints.

Collector Care

Display work in normal indoor conditions away from prolonged direct sunlight. Clean metal and acrylic surfaces with a soft, dry microfiber cloth; use appropriate cleaners only when needed. Store certificates flat in a dry, climate-stable environment alongside your ownership records. For detailed care guidance, see the Collector Guide. Browse collections for available limited editions.
